The studio
A small studio of two.
Team AM is two people making things, based in San Francisco. One builds software — mobile apps and web services. The other makes visuals — design, illustration, and the occasional game. We share this site as a home for whatever we ship.
The work spans more than one medium because we do. Some of it is engineered and shipped to an app store. Some of it is drawn, painted, or designed. Some of it sits in between — small experiments that wouldn't fit a portfolio site built around a single craft.
Putting it all under one roof is the point. We don't pick which half to show; we show the work as it is.
Make something. Finish it. Put it out.
On our own schedule, on things we find worth making. We don't take client work. Everything published here is something one of us wanted to exist.
Unfinished work doesn't count. We'd rather ship a small thing end-to-end than collect ideas that never leave the sketch.
Engineering and visual work share the same site, the same standards, and the same name. Neither side is filler.
We work on what we want, take our time, and answer to the work — not to a roadmap, a client, or a quarter.
